The Story
"Trisha can hardly wait. Soon all the relatives will arrive, dozens of aunts and uncles and cousins, including her favorite cousins, Sandy and Lydia. And the fun will begin!
"Every year, the family rituals are the same: A great feast with at least a gazillion different kinds of Jell-O, a croquet game (no one can ever agree on the rules), and best of all, storytelling time, when all the great aunts pull out the family photo albums and try to top one another with their fantastic memories.
"But this year, Gramma has promised something new. She's going to teach them how to catch lightning in a jar. Trisha always knew her grandmother was magical, but this is a trick she can’t wait to see. She doesn’t know it yet, but 'lightning in a jar' will become the most remembered ritual of all... one she will proudly share with generations to come."
