What is something kind or thoughtful that you have done for a friend, family member, or animal, without asking for anything in return?

Answer: When my grandma worked at the lodge, I was there with her. I went to throw some kitchen gloves away. When I was getting ready to throw the gloves away a raccoon jumped out of the trashcan. The poor little raccoon had a peanut butter jar stuck on its head. So when the raccoon was not looking I put three kitchen gloves on each hand and held the raccoons paws down and I tried to get the jar off. I could not get the jar off, so I found a bottle of water and put it around the jar. The jar popped off. I walked away and the raccoon followed me. I said, Please go back to your mom. The raccoon turned around and went in the trashcan. Then I yelled, "Do not get your head stuck in a jar....

Answer: I went down in the basement with my big sister, Mikaela because she did not want to go in the basement alone. So I went with her.

Answer: I drew a picture for my mom and my family. My mom and my family felt very happy because pictures of fish, butterflies, flowers and cherries. All these things make my family happy.

Answer: When my friend Devon left her lunch on the school bus in the morning, I shared my lunch with her. It wasn't necessary for me to eat the entire sandwich by myself. It was more important to do a kind deed for a friend. Besides, we had fun sharing everything - right down to the chocolate chip cookie for dessert.

Answer: I helped my Mim rake leaves. I wasn't expecting nothing, but she gave me five dollars.

Answer: I helped my mom clean the house, and she tried to give me some money. I helped my dad work on his car, and he tried to give me some money to go get me a drink. I helped my grandma, and she tried to give me a candy bar.

Answer: I help my mom carry in the groceries. She gave me five dollars, and I wasn't expecting it. Then I helped my granny, and she took me out to eat for helping her.

Answer: One of my Dad's friends is about 53 years old. He goes to the store and buys groceries. He asked me to help him. I said, "Yes, I would love to." I carried the groceries. He tried to give me a dollar. I said, "No, you keep it. He stuck it in my pocket. I tried to give it back and he said no!

Answer: I took the trash out for my mom. She gave me a dollar even though I didn't ask for it.

Answer: We took a friend to the grocery store. When we got to her house, I started to put her groceries away.

Answer: I did something thoughtful for an animal. It was a baby cow. It was stuck in the weeds. For example, I got my pocketknife out, and I cut the weeds off of it. Then it started to lick me, and I left. It started to follow me home.

Answer: My friend Kiera needed a pencil and I gave my extra one to her. She offered me her griper and I said no thank you.

Answer: One thoughtful thing I have done was to care for my friend's guinea pig. I made sure that he had fresh food and water every day.

Answer: I cleaned up my brothers room when we had to clean the house I helped when my sister fell on the ground. And when my friend Jeremy got hit in the head and he needed ice and I got it.

Answer: I have helped Adriana get up on the monkey bars when she could not get up. I set the table at home A lot. My cat Tiny is lonely so I sit with him or in the middle of the night he comes and sits at the end of my bed because he is lonely. I think he loves me the most.

Answer: My Dad was taking tests to be a horse trainer. He was taking lots of tests. One day he went to take another test. Finally he got back. He got him a cowboy hat because he passed the test. My brother and I took some paper and drew on them and put them around the house.

When I got back he asked me how he could repay me and I said you don't have to repay because we are good friends.

Answer: I found a little baby kitten in the street. I took care of it. It was a boy. I named it Midnight, because it was black and white.

Answer: Last year after tutoring my friend came and stayed. Before baseball I helped him do his homework so we can get done fast and play.
